Martha Mondays: Drink Umbrellas
Posted by in CraftsSassy Suppers chose a craft project for today – drink umbrellas. What a cute project! It was really easy too. We pleated one of the umbrellas to try to make it look a bit more like the ones you get in restaurants and it turned out really well. These would be adorable for a summer party. Side note: I remember bringing a drink umbrella home from someplace as a child and using it as an umbrella for my Barbies! Barbie would definitely give these a thumbs up as well.
Next week’s project is blackberry almond shortbread squares.

I’m so glad you had success with a craft! I love that you used pinking shears on yours. I wish I’d had some as I think that would’ve made mine even cuter. Anyway, I finally posted mine.

They turned out cute Brette. Once in awhile we need these easy crafts!
My three-year-old has some dolls that his grandparents gave him. They go with a wooden camper and they have holes in their hands for fishing poles and assorted paraphernalia. Well, these umbrellas made their way into these dolls’ hands. So, no Barbies but close!
That is so cute!
I’m not sure I’m up for making umbrellas, no matter how cute, but shortbread squares, I will look forward to those!
Every Martha Mondays project isn’t for everyone. I enjoy the fact that the members choose different things, which gets me to try and do things I never would have.
